Built in 1908 this road bridge in Hertfordshire will be undergoing major bridge repairs and refurbishment over the next 4 weeks and our 23 x 11 m pontoon working platform will play a fundamental role in ensuring these works are completed on time and budget.  The construction of ballast walls at each end of the bridge will improve the structure’s durability requires access from the river and scaffold constructed on the pontoon will provide a safe, stable working environment for the shot blasting and repainting.   The addition of 11 m deflection ends to the pontoon provides a safety measure to ensure vessels cannot strike the working platform.
