Scope of Work
Vital maintenance to circular PST’s within several Wessex sites was overdue, it was essential that the disruption was kept to a minimum.
Solution
Bespoke design platforms to ensure that safe access was available for operatives to undertake works to their own timescale. The modular pontoon was constructed around the scraper bridge which allowed continuous movement until works were scheduled to take place.
The tank was not decommissioned and the entire evolution was completed with one week. Utilising pontoon instead of scaffold delivered a 350% saving.
