Scope of Works
Vegetation clearance on wastewater aeration lanes. Access and site safety a primary concern, HGV’s and hiabs could not be driven on site due to weight restrictions and the location. Previous attempts to undertake works had proven dangerous and unworkable.
Solution
A bespoke dual modular platform was designed with a stability bridge. The platform was fitted with full edge protection and provided a stable, manoeuvrable work space with safe access. The pontoon was built off-site and reconstructed in under 2 hours, work commenced immediately and each 100m long lane was cleared in one day and the entire job completed in under 2 weeks.
