We are constantly working to build long term relationships with our clients by offering them the best pontoon solutions on worksites throughout the UK.  Contractors undertaking regular maintenance on the rail network always require fast access solutions on sites which are often difficult to reach, this is where we deliver.

To enable much needed bridge refurbishment on a rail bridge we combined these two installations on a river in Kent providing a  safe ‘walk to work’ access and egress to and from a solid working platform beneath the bridge.     The work site accessed from private farm land required  a gangway onto a 2.5m wide pontoon with full Combisafe edge protection, secured by ground anchors.  The pontoon was connected to a second 5m wide underbridge pontoon which was in turn secured to the bridge abutments.   The combined installations offered a stable working environment suitably secured to allow variation of the water level during the works.     The installation also acted as a crash deck and debris fall arrest protecting the water course from contamination.

Completing these essential bridge refurbishment works on the rail network without possession orders allows our clients to work safely and efficiently with no disruption to the network services.

This project was safely installed and removed whilst adhering to the social distancing guidelines laid out by the government, in addition we have introduced our own strict code of practice to protect our employees and clients from Covid.
