Scope of works
Rotors at either end of an aeration ditch needed to be removed and replaced. Temporary spiral aerators were installed until works could be completed.
Solution
Two 14m2 working platforms were constructed with a 0.5m2 cut out around the rotors. Rope and stanchion edge protection provided safety for the workforce but also gave access to work over the edge of the platform.
A one day installation time provided two floating worksites, facilitating a 2 week completion for the works.
