Scope of works
Replacement of damaged launders and brackets and de-vegetation of outdoor clarification tank. The water was supporting the corroded launders and reducing the level risked complete collapse.
Scaffold was not an option due to the fragility of the structure.
Solution
Low profile pontoon was installed to enable closer inspection of the problem areas and secured the fragile cross- sections before lowering the water to a workable level.
The clean water tank was decked out and the structures secured within 2 days.
