Scope of works
Routine maintenance indoor clean water tanks across 6 sites. Unable to drain required safe solution in confined space.
Solution
A working platform installed and fitted around the internal fixtures. Access and egress from the gantry via secured ladders. The contractors were able to undertake planned and unplanned inspection and maintenance unencumbered by harnesses and with only minimal water loss. The pontoon was installed and removed in just one day as opposed to 4 days for scaffold. The comparative costings demonstrated a 58% saving.
